The Clinic Charge/Triage Nurse, is under the direction of the Clinic Supervisor, responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and support for clinic nursing staff. The Clinic Charge/Triage Nurse collaborates with staff to plan, develop, support, and implement changes to existing operational and healthcare processes to meet current and future clinic service needs. Delegates assignments and provides supervision to the support staff in accordance with their scope of practice, patient acuity levels, and collaborates with medical providers to ensure the high quality of patient care. Support established medical practice standards and proficiency, nursing excellence, and frontline patient services including telephone and in-person triage. Decision making and critical thinking, to supervise daily functions, and work toward continuous improvement in a team environment is a crucial element of this position. Other duties as assigned.
