Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Our customers include the top motorsports racing series including Formula One, Le Mans, IndyCar and NASCAR and we also supply transmissions for the most exclusive high-performance cars in the world. We are at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation opportunity as the automotive industry transitions from internal combustion to electric and hybrid and our experienced and dedicated teams are using the latest cutting-edge technology to achieve this transition.

About the Role

Xtracs Warehouse Assistant will work in a small warehouse environment (12k square foot total facility size) and is responsible for helping with all aspects of the shipping and receiving process.

Working alongside our Warehouse Controller, you will be expected to maintain a clean working environment and working at a high level of attention to detail.

Day to Day

• Receive packages/freight shipments, checks and signs delivery slips, and unpacks and moves parts to correct locations as necessary or deliver to the appropriate person.
• Pick customer orders accurately and promptly to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Pick parts to be built into kits or assemblies (Buildshop).
• Assist in weekly cycle counts to help ensure inventory accuracy. We are striving to achieve 95% accuracy.
• Transfer stock (physically and electronically) to and from other warehouses or bins within our facility.
• Assemble boxes, containers and crates. Pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping details (dimensions and weight).
• Maintain tidy shelves, ensuring dividers are visible, and the correct parts are in them.
• Using our inventory management software, Epicor E10, all inventory transactions and movements will be documented.
• May operate hand truck, carts or other hand equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Greet and help customers that pickup and drop-off at our facility.
• Physical responsibilities include lifting 50lbs.
• Communicates via company email and via telephone.

About You

• Required to be able to lift/move 50lbs.
• Background in a warehouse or customer service environment/industry.
• High level of attention to detail and concentration.
• Ability to learn new skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
