Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Staff Accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a crucial role in the finance sector where you will be primarily responsible for various accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage and update journal entries as required

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of debits and credits

• Oversee and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger

• Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Assist with the Month End Close process

• Resolve any accounting discrepancies that may arise

• Monitor and review financial data for accuracy

• Leverage experience in the field to enhance accounting processes and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with the General Ledger and its workings

• Capability to create and manage Journal Entries

• Proficient in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite software

• Familiarity with Oracle finance software

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Experience in utilizing SAP for accounting processes
