Description We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant for an opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be involved in various accounting and financial tasks, including processing financial data, maintaining records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is based in a detail-oriented office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular cash position updates through detailed analysis, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.

• Assisting in the development of financial models to aid in organizational decision-making.

• Playing a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.

• Comparing and analyzing actual financial results with historical data, plans, and forecasts to evaluate financial performance.

• Collaborating with various teams to support operational and financial initiatives while maintaining compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Addressing billing and payroll issues promptly and making necessary corrections.

• Preparing comprehensive reports on financial performance and presenting them during leadership meetings.

• Providing essential support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Handling day-to-day cash management activities.

• Completing accounting and reconciliations for several entities using QuickBooks. Requirements • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Thorough understanding of General Ledger accounting

• Proven ability to create accurate Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
