BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $70k-110k annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Leads & Close Sales: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the commercial sector, specifically targeting the sale and rental of specialized motorized access solutions, including personnel hoists, transport platforms, mast climbers, material hoists, and SpiderĀ® swing stages.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer project requirements and access challenges in-depth. Analyze complex building facades, worksite layouts, and specific tasks to recommend the most suitable combination of our specialized equipment. Prepare and present customized proposals that address these unique needs, highlighting the safety, efficiency, and productivity gains our solutions offer.

  • Project Management: Coordinate the entire sales process, from initial consultation and equipment selection through delivery, setup, and ongoing project support. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of our equipment into project plans. Oversee the provision of labor and project management services, if requested, to ensure smooth and successful project execution.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and other key decision-makers in the construction, industrial, and commercial sectors. Stay informed about their ongoing and upcoming projects, anticipate their needs, and proactively offer solutions that meet their evolving requirements.

  • Financial Management: Prepare accurate and timely invoices for equipment rental, engineering services, labor, and project management fees. Track rental durations and usage to ensure accurate billing. Follow up on past-due accounts while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Sales Operations: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, project specifications, and equipment utilization. Utilize our CRM (Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress. Stay informed about competitor offerings and emerging trends in the specialized access market.

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications and capabilities of our personnel hoists, transport platforms, mast climbers, material hoists, and SpiderĀ® swing stages. Clearly articulate these details to customers, emphasizing the unique advantages of each product and how they can solve specific challenges.

  • Business Development: Develop short-term and long-term strategies to expand market share in the specialized motorized access sector. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers and industry partners. Conduct educational workshops and training sessions to showcase the safe and efficient use of our equipment.

  • Safety Advocacy: Promote a strong safety culture by emphasizing the importance of proper training and adherence to safety guidelines when using our equipment. Ensure that customers are aware of all safety features and protocols to minimize risk and maximize worker well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.

  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, understand specifications, and prepare accurate estimates.

  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective customer interactions and sales presentations.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex information, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

  • Stationary Position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50+% of the time.

  • Move: This position requires consistent movement 100% of the time.

  • Ascend/Descend: Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder/steps/hoists on job sites.

  • Communicate: The ability to communicate information and ideas to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations with customers and internal teams.

  • Detect: The ability to observe details at close range on the computer or further away on job sites.

  • Exposure to work: Consistently works in outdoor weather conditions meeting with customers on job sites.
