Job Title: Night Shift Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented individual to join our Assembly and Fabrication line team as a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd Shift. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various types of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. The primary goal is to minimize downtime and ensure safe and efficient operations. The candidate must be able to hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting machine malfunctions, diagnosing and repairing electrical wiring systems, maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems, evaluating equipment malfunctions promptly, modifying equipment to improve safety and productivity, and supporting maintenance and repair of production machinery, including major overhauls. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Hard Skills

  • Associates Degree Minimum

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Manufacturing/Maintenance Lead / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer in a Manufacturing setting

  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment (pneumatics, hydraulic systems on equipment)

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Positive attitude towards manufacturing environment work

Work Environment

100% on feet within manufacturing floor setting (this is not an office job). Monday through Friday, Night Shift, 5:00 PM EST through 4:30 AM EST, 50 to 55 Hours Average Weekly.
