Make a Difference

The Payroll Director plays a pivotal role in aligning payroll strategies with overall HR and organizational goals. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all payroll operations, including ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial requirements, and safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII). The Payroll Director will drive continuous improvement in payroll processes to enhance the caregiver experience and support the functional infrastructure. As a part of the Total Rewards team, this role reports to the Executive Director, HR Operations.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5 (five) or more years of managerial experience required

  • 7 (seven) or more years of experience with payroll systems required

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Build relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop payroll staff

  • Develop and implement payroll systems and procedures to increase efficiency

  • Manage the distribution of payroll reports

  • Proficient in issue resolution
