Job Description

The ideal candidate will work closely with both embedded systems and software developers and cloud software teams to develop the requirements, design patterns and architectures needed to create cloud-native solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that support our growing platform of customer-focused intelligent products. Collaborate with the embedded systems team daily to understand their requirements and translate them into digital and cloud solutions, capturing and documenting these requirements in Jira, Confluence, Doors, or other tracking tools. Balance product requirements, system design & performance, and cyber security needs to develop optimal solutions while participating in requirements decomposition and flow-down between embedded and cloud teams. Help align requirements development activities for embedded-to-cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Participate in both embedded and digital/cloud FMEAs, and develop test plans for these requirements. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, providing technical guidance and support to the embedded systems team and other stakeholders. Document requirements, system designs, test plans, processes, and procedures to ensure comprehensive and accessible records.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in cloud computing, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Strong understanding of embedded systems and their integration with cloud technologies.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Demonstrated experience in WiFi, BLE, cellular, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Master's degree in a related field.

Experience with IoT, edge computing and AWS Solution Architecture experience.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Demonstrated experience with past embedded to cloud product development.

Strong background in both embedded and cloud-based cybersecurity. null
