Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Construction/Contractor industry located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a crucial part of our team, the Customer Service Representative will be tasked with managing incoming and outbound calls, addressing customer queries, processing applications, and maintaining a systematic record of customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer service calls efficiently and professionally.

• Manage both incoming and outbound calls, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

• Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate team or department.

• Process customer applications accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date.

• Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of customer interactions.

• Work closely with sales teams to provide quotations and post-sales support.

• Confirm and coordinate appointments as per customer convenience.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role within the construction/contractor industry

• Proven skills in customer service and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally

• Experience in providing quotations for various construction projects and services

• Demonstrable success in sales, with the ability to upsell services and products when appropriate

• Experience in post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any issues that arise after the sale

• Ability to confirm and coordinate appointments effectively, ensuring all parties involved are informed and prepared

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple appointments and tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with customers and team members

• Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to customer service and appointment scheduling

• A team player who can also work independently and take initiative when necessary.
