About the Secretary of State's Office:
It is the mission of the office of Secretary of State to deliver to the people of Indiana government-as-a-service that focuses on unqualified integrity and accuracy in our elections, consistent and principled regulatory methods, ceaseless protection of Hoosier investors, and the most efficient use of taxpayer resources.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to $55,000, based on education or work experience.
A Day in the Life:
Ensure constituent emails are responded to accurately within the predetermined deadline- Assist with Knowledge Article Management (creation, review, and approval of email templates)
Assists with maintaining web content
Assists with the creation of manuals with step-by-step instructions for constituents or staff
Assist with research and implementation of system upgrades
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets
Ability to follow, improve, and document processes
Processes Tier III escalations involving higher-level concerns
Communicates with partner agencies for customer resolution
Report and troubleshoot technical issues
Attend various meetings in person and virtually
Create and process work orders
Serve as a Front Desk Clerk answering constituent inquiries and transaction assistance
Performs related duties as assigned
What You'll Need for Success:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Bilingual preferred
Strong communication and organization skills
Strong writing skills
Ability to communicate by email and phone
Willingness to learn custom computer applications
Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Problem-solving skills
Detail Oriented
Self-motivated
Friendly, helpful, and professional that is excited about being a part of our team
