Organization Overview:
Clinical Supply Systems (CSS) team provides strategic direction, oversight, and management of clinical processes, information, and technologies within Clinical Trial Foundations (CTF) and Clinical Supply Planning and Delivery (or Product Delivery) to deliver the right drug to the right patient at the right time, every time. We ensure seamless integration of Investigational Product, Commercial Product and Ancillary strategies to ensure technology enables clinical trial design and execution.
The Clinical Supply Systems - SAP Security Management, will support the design, testing and implementation of all required changes to SAP and system integrations to other Supply Chain systems and external partners that support the CT supply chain, to ensure on time delivery of CT material to all clinical investigator sites globally. This will require leadership and coordination across Tech@Lilly (MD and Global), Business Functions across Clinical Supply Planning and Delivery, global external partners and Lilly commercial plant sites. Additionally, the role will be responsible for understanding the impact of any changes/upgrades planned by the commercial organization to ensure there is no impact to the SAP CT supply chain security, solution and integrations. The role will be a key contributor to the security, training, design and implementation of required future enhancements to SAP CT Solution, change management, organization and optimization of Power Users. In addition, the role will also be responsible for the SAP security design and access globally for CT SAP solution.
Responsibilities:

For SAP releases, partner with and support SAP release manager(s) and team with:
comprehensive Impact Assessment against CT supply chain solution design including but not limited to:
GxP/Non-GxP impact
Process impact
Training impact
Test Scripts
communication of changes and Organizational Change Management (OCM)
design and coordinate testing activities
train end users
all cutover activities relative to the CT supply chain solution design
development or update of Transaction Aids and SOP changes impacting existing affiliates and organization
For other SAP and CT Supply Chain system releases, provide business SME support for:
Infrastructure changes (new GUI, hotpacks applied, database and software upgrades)
Bug Fixes
Smaller CR implementations
Monthly Down Time
Ensure appropriate training and procedures are created, maintained, and governed for the process. This includes partnering with functional management on training requirements, specifically those required for SAP security access, as well as management of the role-based collaboration site to ensure material is up to date and in compliance with Corporate policy
Understand business strategies, processes and technology as they relate to the SAP CT supply chain solution and their associated systems
Support internal audits and external inspections
Identify, monitor and communicate global customer (internal and external) needs/requirements related to process and/or technology performance and improvements
Support organizational change, communication planning and training initiatives
Identify project implementation and system execution risks and raise issues appropriately
Report progress on activities and system metrics to leadership and stakeholders
Partner with process owners, leadership, quality and Tech@Lilly to ensure SAP is being appropriately leveraged across the portfolio
Actively participate in and drive shared learning across the team
Work with vendors to improve customer experience and efficiencies
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant work experience)
Direct experience with SAP security management.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Minimum of 1 year experience in drug development, clinical supply operations or clinical systems support including but not limited to SAP and SAP integration platforms
Knowledge and/or experience in clinical trial supply management systems and processes
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong business insight
Demonstrated strength in logical thought, problem solving ability and critical thinking
Ability to communicate and influence across functional boundaries
Ability and experience in positively handling and resolving conflict
Flexibility in approach; able to adjust to unexpected business opportunities while also being a catalyst for change
Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements governing clinical development
Additional Information:
Minimal travel ( 10%) may be required, both domestic and international.
Work outside of core hours may be required to support the portfolio across the globe
