Description

SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced CAD - Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis.

Note: Hybrid work option available.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting principles and extensive experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software. This individual will play a key role in converting conceptual designs into technical data packages including models, drawings and additive manufacturing files that meet the DoD and industrial standards.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in drafting and CAD.

• Proficiency in multiple CAD software packages such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, NX, etc.

• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to produce and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.

• Ability to collaborate closely with other team members.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
