Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level purchasing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, developing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring goods and services arrive in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.

• Manage supplier and vendor relationships.

• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.

• Monitor changes in inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.

• Plan and implement purchasing strategies.

• Monitor deliveries and ensure suppliers and vendors meet deadlines and contractual obligations.

• Oversee quality control of purchased items.

• Handle and manage purchase orders and invoices.

• Evaluate and manage vendor performance and compliance.

• Forecast upcoming demand and formulate purchase plans.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role.

• Excellent knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
