The Associate IT Services Consultant Provides IT services and related consulting for TeamMate solutions, both onsite at the customer's location and remotely, to new prospects and existing customers in the corporate and governmental markets. The Consultant will evolve into a technical knowledge expert of TeamMate products, enabling them to effectively communicate with clients while identifying new enhancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal consultant to customers regarding all TeamMate software products, becoming a “trusted advisor” for the customer’s IT components of their auditing practices.

  • Provide fee-based IT consulting services to clients integrating the TeamMate solution into their environment. Able to consult on various aspects of moderately complex TeamMate engagements, responsible for a variety of tasks and ensuring they are delivered on time and meet client requirements. Services include software installation, implementation in various databases, writing and implementing custom programs in various programming languages and Windows platforms. IT services may be performed on-site with the client or remotely utilizing various technologies.

  • Participate in full life cycle of fee-based IT consulting projects including requirements gathering sessions with customers and team members. Review, clarify, and document business requirements and prepare a statement of work. Provide project application designs, identify deliverables and provide estimates. Identify skills necessary for the implementation, risks related to the project, and manage the mitigation of those risks. Work with customers to ensure quality and integrity of designs, including adherence to standards and project requirements outlined in the statement of work.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Wolters Kluwer, Wolters Kluwer Audit & Assurance, and TeamMate business initiatives.

  • Develop a deep understanding of how TeamMate offerings fit into the client business – now and in the future.

  • Assist sales professionals with high profile product demonstrations and other pre-sales support.

  • Provide assistance to the TeamMate team at industry conferences and seminars.

  • Assist in the development of internal and customer training materials as well as conduct internal and customer training.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, in an effort to increase quality, efficiencies, and cost effectiveness.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and technology trends. Analyze new and emerging technologies and provide updates to team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technology field, plus 1 year of related work experience. If non-degreed, 3 years of equivalent related work experience is required.

  • 1+ years of experience with MS Windows client and server operating systems, including knowledge of user management, filesystem management, Active Directory, group policies, firewalls, and registry usage.

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), including basic administration and operation.

  • 1+ years of experience with database servers, including basic database administration skills such as creating, backup/restore, configuration, and usage, as well as the ability to read and write SQL statements.

  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server is required.

  • Experience working with application servers, including knowledge of configuration and administration.

  • Proven experience in identifying and solving customer issues

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $63,150 - $87,250
