Description

The Robert Half healthcare practice is working with a healthcare company in the Indianapolis area to add an Accounting Assistant to their team. This candidate must be an Accounts Payable/Payroll expert with an extreme attention to detail.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Apply fundamental accounting principles to prepare accurate financial documents and reports, ensuring adherence to established control procedures.

• Perform routine accounting tasks, including calculations, payroll processing, and meticulous record keeping.

• Process invoices and generate checks for vendors and employees, following corporate approval protocols.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, statistical analyses, and budget documentation.

• Ensure timely posting of all current month invoices to accounts payable, facilitating accurate month-end closing procedures.

• Manage and reconcile the petty cash fund, maintaining accurate records of transactions.

• Collect and process bi-weekly payroll information, and reconcile payroll data with source documents for accuracy.

  Requirements

• MedHost software experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel

• Must understand the full payroll cycle and accounts payable

• Ability to maintain meticulous records and perform calculations with a high degree of accuracy.
