Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security

  • Implement and manage Azure services such as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and load balancers, while ensuring proper security configurations.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps, with a strong emphasis on security.

  • Participate in the management and monitoring of all cloud infrastructure, including weekend deployments of production and OS updates as needed

  • Support multiple aspects our hosting environments while working towards being a lead expert in areas

  • Prioritize and work on tickets that are opened by automated alerting opened by various groups that relate to server etwork\storage issues

  • Provide Client Service including escalated support for problems and issues

  • Design, build and maintain highly available IAAS

  • Develop and maintain automation for server and application build, test and deploy

  • Configure and deploy monitoring tools and scripts for systems and applications

  • Provide effective communication of projects and tasks to the Operations team and stake-holders in other departments

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Computer Science bachelor’s degree or similar.

  • Good understanding of Threat Modelling for Cloud based applications

  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements for healthcare applications

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools, such as Terraform

Hands on experience on the following technologies:

o Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines

o Terraform

o Proven track record of designing & implementing security for cloud based applications. • Strong DataOps experience (CI/CD, Orchestration, Testing, Monitoring)

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Snowflake

• Experience with Apache Spark and related Big Data stack and technologies, PySpark Scala

• Experience working with Apache Kafka, building appropriate producer/consumer apps

• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker, and knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure automation and management (e.g., Terraform)

• Experience working in projects with agile/scrum methodologies

• Healthcare industry knowledge and experience with exposure to EDI, HIPAA, HL7 and FHIR integration standards
