Flynn Restaurant Group Procurement Coordinator - Brand Support in INDEPENDENCE, Ohio

Position:

The Procurement Coordinator-Brand Support is responsible for tactically supporting the day-to-day needs of the Procurement Brand Support team and Restaurant Operations. This role includes but is not limited to, providing excellent customer service across various Purchasing categories, placing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, mining data, maintaining Procurement information database and supporting files, resolving vendor-related issues, and supporting other department needs. To succeed in this role, this individual will be a detailed, forward-thinking self-starter with natural customer service and problem-solving skills who is comfortable juggling various projects.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and follow up frequently and consistently to ensure issues are resolved for the operation of the business within company guidelines

  • Produce various communications and materials

  • Reconcile and process invoices to ensure accuracy and in compliance with organizational policy

  • Perform the purchasing process for equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies necessary for the operation of the business within company guidelines

  • Obtain, review, and file quotes and negotiate with suppliers for requirements that meet operational needs

  • Build and maintain relations with vendors and cross-functional partners and work to minimize issues

  • Execute and track purchase orders accurately and promptly to ensure proper delivery of goods and services

  • Maintain accurate supplier records and new item specifications

  • Coordinate a variety of projects as required by Operations

  • Provide back-up support to the team as needed

  • Complete other duties as may be assigned including but not limited to monitoring and tracking budgets and supporting acquisition processes

Experience:

  • Highly proficient in Office 365 environment, SAP and Coupa experience a plus

  • High school diploma or GED; Two (2) or Four (4) year college degree preferred

  • Four (4) years of industry experience in food service or retail preferred

  • Restaurant operations experience is highly desirable

  • Customer service background is required
