Job Description

Perform minor production set-ups and light troubleshooting as needed. Execute a variety of assembly operations by maintaining the flow of products efficiently. Prepare the area for the next job up as needed. Maintain machine uptime by changing out containers quickly and restarting machines. Visually inspect parts prior to placing them on skids. Assist machine setup (Machine OP 2) personnel in their daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine uptime by changing out containers quickly and restarting machines.

• Visually inspect parts prior to placing them on skids.

• Assist machine setup (Machine OP 2) personnel in their daily duties.

Essential Skills

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 35-40 pounds repeatedly for an 8-hour shift.

• Able to multitask and follow instructions given by Machine OP 2 personnel or supervisors.

• Must be able to clean up after themselves and operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.

• Must fit well in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail.

• Must be flexible and willing to help in different areas of the operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience running 600-1000 parts a day.

• Automotive experience (will understand the paperwork already).

Work Environment

This is a production-based shop that bends wire for the automotive industry. Most of the machinery is older and very unique. Employees must wear steel-toe boots, casual clothing, and safety glasses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00
