Job Title: Mill Operator

Job Description

This position is based in a pinto bean facility. The Mill Operator will perform general labor around the plant to help maintain cleanliness and efficiency. You will set up and operate mill equipment, discharge mill contents, maintain production records, sample and grade products, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand daily production schedules and material requirements.

• Set up and operate mill equipment with correct materials and products based on order specifications.

• Discharge mill contents.

• Maintain mill production records.

• Sample and grade products according to customer specifications.

Work Environment

The work environment is a grain elevator with a team size of 10. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and layers as needed. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with occasional Saturdays and the possibility of leaving early on Fridays.
