ALLO Communications Fiber Drop Coordinator in Imperial, Nebraska

As a Drop Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently schedule all service drop installations. To track progress of daily work completed, issue locate requests, re-schedule drop placement when needed. Work closely with market managers, supervisors, and field techs and respond to customer service representative inquiries. This will require that you manage your own daily work and schedule within certain parameters, and that you are committed to the high quality and accuracy of your work.

Colorado residents: Typical pay for this role is $18-$20 per hour depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule drop installation utilizing ALLOs preferred software system.

Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on any customer request.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.

Secure necessary locates through local 811 system before underground work is initiated.

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations, and company safety policies.

Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting condition daily and maintaining a valid driver's license.

Maintain relationships with ALLO Contractors and hold them accountable for workload being done efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Additional Job Description Additional Job Description EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

1 year of telecom or administrative experience and working knowledge of drop placement.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures.

Thorough knowledge of fiber construction and material.

Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and GIS/CAD.

Skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, contractors, and company employees.

Good mathematical skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule (including holidays).

REQUIREMENTS:

Remain stationary for extended periods.

Ability to communicate information.

Ability to operate a computer.
