Acentra seeks a Quality Audit Specialist to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • Under general supervision of the Audit Manager, the Quality Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting and coordinating audits of internal processes and procedures within Acentra Health to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and industry standards.

  • The Quality Audit Specialist plays a vital role in identifying areas of improvement, creating and implementing audit action plans, and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits on various departments and processes within Acentra Health to assess compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Develop detailed audit plans and checklists to guide the audit process.

  • Perform comprehensive reviews of documentation, records, and systems to identify non-compliance issues or areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with department leaders and team members to collect and analyze data, identify root causes of issues, and develop appropriate corrective action plans.

  • Create audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.

  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure their effectiveness.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to auditing and compliance.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on auditing techniques and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in auditing, compliance, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct thorough and accurate audits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in auditing or compliance (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional).

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a regulated environment.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS Guidelines).

  • Experience with audit management software.

  • Experience in training delivery or instructional design.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $55,800-$64,800

“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
