Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Asset Management Administrator to work in our Property Administration department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule sitewide with every other Friday off.

You will perform a variety of property management tasks across the site, including property acknowledgements, and problem resolution to ensure property management procedures are followed. You will report to the manager of the Property Administration department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain an approved Property Management System by managing tasks and projects such as sitewide physical inventories, subcontract property administration, and processing release of liability for items not located
  • Audit property records and complete specific transactions, processes, to assure compliance with Property Management Regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and provide alternative approaches and resolutions to fulfill customer needs based on knowledge of asset life cycle tracking principles.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff concerning Property Management processes. Educate end-users on importance of physical accountability of property.
  • Coordinate with others across the INL and interface with external customers on specific property transactions and processes.
  • Follow Record Management Requirements.
  • May prepare and transmit internal and external correspondence for document completion related to Property Administration deliverables.
  • May research issues and provide written recommendation to management on solutions.
  • Maintain required training and keep current with work discipline knowledge.
  • Perform work safely, environmentally, and security-compliant.
  • Implement and maintain the INL property system procedures and tools as directed.
  • Complete property validations in the field and follow up on all INL property acknowledgements for accountable assets.
  • Work with INL-wide customers to resolve asset tracking issues. Schedule appointments to complete property management inventories. Provide periodic updates and statuses to management and staff.

*Minimum Requirements: *

  • Level 4: High school diploma, or equivalent, and 6 years related experience.
  • Level 5: High school diploma, or equivalent, and >6 years related experience.
  • Experience with computer enterprise resource and management systems to maintain records, analyze data, and report generation. Must be comfortable with using Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
  • Experience using mobile scanning software to update asset management system records.

*Job Information: *

  • The pay range for this position is: Level 4 ($29.46/hr - $48.61/hr) / Level 5 ($34.47 - $56.87). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
