Healthfirst Senior Dental Analyst, Pharmacy Department in Hybrid, New York

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts market research and understands members needs to ensure our current dental benefit remain competitive and sustainable.

  • Designs interactive dashboards that provide an at-a-glance view of key performance indicators (KPIs), member feedback based on appeals and grievances, utilization and spend across our Healthfirst products.

  • Creates visually appealing presentations that demonstrate data-driven insights to promote data driven decision making.

  • Builds a process to ensure the accuracy of our dental directory meets Healthfirst performance targets and/or compliance standards.

  • Creates oversight monitoring activities including the validation of reporting to ensure the dental vendor meets Healthfirst targets and/or compliance expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Additional duties as assigned or necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python or R

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Demonstrated success analyzing large datasets

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Continuous learning mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analytics or consulting, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • 1+ years' of working experience with SQL

  • 1+ years' of working experience with Python

  • Knowledge of health care industry, systems, business strategies and products

  • Use advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and modeling
