Job Description

Candidates will be working in a production environment that produces food products. They will also work outside cleaning product bins, power washing, painting equipment, and more. Comfort with working in various weather conditions is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work on a production line producing food products.

• Clean product bins and power wash equipment.

• Paint and maintain equipment.

• Work outside in various weather conditions.

• Use pallet jacks and pack products.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a warehouse or production environment.

• General labor and production line experience.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

• Comfortable standing for 10-12 hour shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively on a production line.

• Flexibility to be moved around depending on production needs.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working in a food manufacturing environment with varying temperatures – cold in the winter and warm in the summer. The work environment includes strong smells from garlic, jalapeños, salsa, taco sauce, etc. Shifts are either 10 or 12 hours, requiring long periods of standing. Safety gear, including gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses, will be provided. Candidates must supply their own steel-toe boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
