General Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, higher education, or related field. Two years’ work experience in a managerial capacity involving customer service, banking, or other related field; three years preferred. A combination of education, experience and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Delegates, evaluates, and organizes work for optimal resource use. Supervises and directs front line staff. Manages daily office operations. Coordinates with departments and vendors for fund collection per University policies. Exercises judgment in decisions to prevent financial loss to the University.

Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

Processes and audits departmental deposits. Issues and troubleshoots ID cards (Bearkat OneCard). Works as Front Line Lead accepting payment & assisting students. Receipts and audits student account payments. Analyzes student accounts Oversees fund collection for the University. Processes external scholarships. Supervises office personnel handling high-volume cash transactions. Assists in policy analysis and maintenance for Student Account Services. Provides guidance and training to staff and departmental personnel. Hires and Supervises student assistants. Presents information effectively to groups. Performs additional related duties as required.
