Job Title: Product Owner - Software Analyst

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time

Position Summary:

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analysis Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army

Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office

(PO). The product owner will provide oversight and prioritization of the Analysis team. The product owner will work

with Solution management in setting priorities of the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will

include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing

capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an Active Secret security clearance.

  • Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.

  • Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed.

  • Be a US citizen.

  • The candidate must have experience running end-to-end simulations of missile defense systems and performing post run analysis.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to leadership.

  • Ability to work with multiple customers and prioritize competing requests with management support.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.

  • Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM or KANBAN team is a plus.
