Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerJob Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a hands-on role in the production of part drawings for mechanical assemblies of street sweepers. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking the dimensions of parts, ensuring their conformance to drawing standards, and measuring to ensure designs meet specifications. The role also involves identifying and resolving any issues arising from designs during the manufacturing process. The role primarily focuses on producing drawings for mechanical parts made of sheet metal, including bearings, races, cylinders, part casings, and basic body parts.

The work environment is a blend of engineering lab and manufacturing floor settings. The role involves working closely with the manufacturing team, taking measurements, observing machines, and providing collaborative feedback. The working hours are flexible, with a typical day running from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some overtime. The plant opens as early as 4:00 AM.

Hard Skills:

• Experience with Solidworks platform or other related CAD softwares

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science - Degree in Engineering required

• 10 years of experience in the field

• Experience working with and designing mechanisms for heavy industrial equipment, mobile vehicles, agriculture equipment, or heavy trucking assemblies
