Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Programs 3 . This position will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Advanced Programs organization.
This job is contingent on award of a program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
Provides programmatic leadership and excellence oversight for the hypersonic test bed program.
Manages Cost, Schedule, Risk, Customer relationships, Staffing Planning, and Team engagement over a geographically disperse team, supplier management, contracts, and system testing
Demonstrates programmatic leadership through the identification, allocation, tracking, and completion of program objectives
Supports future Advanced Programs and Division team engagement activities, technical staff performance and goal evaluation, and recruiting/hiring support
Demonstrates a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business
Operates in an advanced design environment and collaborate across the Defense Sector Divisions and other Sectors as required to accomplish team goals
Works closely with the Advanced Programs leadership and other core organization leads in defining, growing, and executing the organization’s people and business
Creates and implements a strategy for growth of team and business through program execution

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience or Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Minimum 3 years in a formal management position with the ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meeting program and stakeholder needs
2 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
2 years of experience in managing programs in rapid prototyping and system integration
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
Experience with digital design, model-based engineering, and modeling and simulation tools and processes
Experience with ballistic missile, cruise missile, and/or weapon design to include vehicle, payload, command and control, ground systems, and support systems
Prior DoD Project or program manager experience managing a program of more than $50M.
Experience managing a multi-disciplinary teams, and teams of teams

Salary Range: $161,500 - $267,700
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
