Primary Function

Troy 7, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Flight Test Analysis Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this position, the selected candidate will support the MDA Targets and Countermeasures (TC) Technical Team at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

Essential Duties

  • Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activitiesfor all MDA Flight Tests
  • Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities
  • Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories and flight scenarios
  • Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products
  • Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations
  • Prepare technical reports and/or briefingson various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software
  • Familiar with STK software
  • Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in STEM field is required
  • Active Secret clearance is required, Top Secret desired
  • 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex/large DoD program/projects
