Position Description:

We are searching for a Facility Logistics Analyst to support USASMDC Systems Engineering Directorate (SED). The Analyst will support SEDs director and subordinate chiefs with general operations of the organization, along with the property management for the directorate. The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative, attention to details, and a strong background in facilitys logistics analysis.

Required Qualifications

Manages property accountability including barcode installation, serial number tracking, service code tracking, location, and associated processes required.

Manages property management system including data management, and reports.

Support external processes with external organizations including providing periodic reports to Army command staff.

Supports opening of labs in collaboration with lab managers (as necessary).

Supports closure of labs in collaboration with lab managers (as necessary).

Software license management including but not limited to Windows, Linux, MATLAB, others.

Hardware warranty management including but not limited to servers, workstations, switches, etc.

Attend and support meetings related to design reviews and charettes, facilities, building modifications, and planning meetings.

Engage with integration leads on a recurring basis related to all aspects of facilities.

Create, or support creation of Job Order Requests (JOR), work orders for facility maintenance.

Responds to Alarms as part of 24x7 on call support which may include resetting alarms, coordination with Redstone Arsenal Military Police Department, municipal police agencies for facilities that are not located on Redstone Arsenal.

Supports new facility walk arounds, collecting actions, and providing positive feedback through punch lists or required procedures.

Familiar with equipment including but not limited to tools, calibrated instrumentation, computers, servers, switches.

Capable of writing procedures, reviewing procedures, requirements generation, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to procedures.

Support defining schedules, assign and execute tasks, and monitor the completion to lead the monitoring of integration and checkout activities.

Support the Systems Engineering Director and division chiefs with administrative tasks related to general operations of the organization.

Required Skills

Must have the ability to develop, maintain, and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirement management processes, tools, risk issues, and opportunity management processes.

Has basic data acquisition knowledge.

Has knowledge of laser safety, missile systems, space systems.

Has Defense system test experience in lab or range environments.

Has experience in cleanroom operations and requirements.

Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Clearance:

Must have an Active Secret DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain one.

Travel Requirements:

Support up to 10%.
