Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience:

Five (5) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and three (3) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements:

Mechanical - At least four (4) years of the five (5) years experience must include successful completion of one (1) year of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and a minimum of two (2) years of mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

Required Qualifications:

U. S. Citizen. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

LPART (Liquid-Propellant-Action-Response-Team); Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement; Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical A.A.S, or Aerospace Technology A.A.S preferred.

Welding experience is a plus.

Duties:

Candidate will support mechanical operations in and around Test Stand/fixtures; operate and maintain equipment for test support; have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement. Candidate will comprehend various test setups and lead the mechanical responsibilities while following applicable standard operating procedures. Candidate will operate forklifts from Class VII and below, mobile and overhead crane, and other similar equipment.
