Summary
Your role as the CMT Department Manager will both utilize and expand your talents to provide project management and oversight of CMT projects as well as supervision of the CMT department. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with our diverse team and directly contribute to our path to becoming the most sought-after, respected, and successful engineering firm in the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Please note that the duties below may vary based on the changing needs of the company.
· Perform business and client development activities
· Responsible for the operational management of the branch office, including construction materials testing/inspection and Geotechnical related lab and field testing
· Quotes costs and fees to clients as well as communicates effectively with clients on all services
· Coordinates personnel and equipment within the branch
· Profit and Loss responsibility
· Prepare proposals and reports
· Recruitment, development, and mentoring of professional, technical, & administrative personnel
· Promotes continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects, monitors quality standards and practices
Qualifications
· BS in Civil Engineering from 4-year college or university
· P.E. License
· 5+ years of relevant experience is required
· ICC, NICET, and/or ACI Certifications are desired
· Personnel management, project management, and profit & loss experience
· Strong business development interest and competency
