5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is a growing defense contractor headquartered in Round Rock, TX with over twenty years’ experience providing systems and software engineering for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Systems Engineering Technical Support to Government Program Offices.

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner (PO). This position works as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms

• Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects and providing guidance to the OSM team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.

• Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for OSM tasks and stories, as well as responsibility for the verification of work performed by the OSM team.

• Working with the Cyber team to maintain a suitable cyber posture for deployed OS products.

• Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.

• Report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Required Experience:

• US Citizenship

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance or higher

• A bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics,

• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience in performing the responsibilities above

• Fluent in Microsoft Office Toolset

• The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking

• A team attitude

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS

• Experience in JIRA/Confluence

• Security + and Linux experience

• Agilist Certification
