The Boeing Company is looking for a Contracts Manager based out of Huntington Beach, California.
In this leadership position, you will mentor and develop a talented group of contract specialists while building strong relationships with external customers. You’ll set strategic priorities and engage with senior leadership to drive success in our maritime and intelligence business, including subsidiaries like ArgonST or cutting-edge programs like the Orca.

Position Responsibilities:
Inspire and manage a team of employees engaged in contract management activities
Implement impactful policies and procedures while setting ambitious operational goals
Acquire essential resources for projects and processes
Provide technical management of suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency
Lead exciting process improvements that drive success
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes to ensure excellence
Develop and execute innovative project and process plans
Empower, develop, and motivate employees to reach their full potential
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase, and sale agreements
Experience with Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
Masters of Business Administration

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $123,250 – $166,750
