Helping by driving farm equipment and planting a crop, checking and maintaining irrigation systems, driving fam equipment for harvest, and many additional farm needs that will be asked and explained at the time of need. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to\ transport to fields, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self-propelled machinery, participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc., planters, semi-trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce corn, rice, soybeans. Speak and understand English.
