Aerotek Apprentice Mechanical Assembler in Hugo, Minnesota

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will have the opportunity to construct tanker trucks and various products from start to finish. This role involves handling both parts and full assembly processes which can take approximately 5-6 months per truck. You will perform all necessary assembly routines before and after the equipment has been painted, read and interpret blueprint detail drawings, install parts and sub-assemblies, and operate various machinery safely. Hard Skills

  • Ability to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on tape measure

  • Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa

  • Welding experience

  • Tool identification

  • Experience with Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, Cutting Torch

  • Forklift operation with training certificate
