Actalent Pharmacy Technician (Non-Retail) in Hudson, Wisconsin

Opportunity to get into a long term care facility

Pay: $21/hr

Schedule: Mon - Fri from 10 am - 6 pm CT

Location: Must be local in the state of MN

Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will fill prescription items, package medications for dispensing and delivery, and ensure the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy. You will also label products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels, and participate in periodic inventory checks, stocking shelves, and removing out-of-date items from the inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill prescription items as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.

  • Package medications for dispensing and delivery.

  • Meet the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.

  • Label products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.

  • Participate in periodic inventory checks.

  • Check in drugs and supplies.

  • Stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology

  • Ability to operate a computer

  • Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective oral communication

  • Pharmacy Technician license preferred
