ASRC Federal Holding Company Intelligence Support Research Analyst - Doctrine Writer - in Huachuca City, Arizona

ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong writing capabilities to support our Doctrine and Instruction for Intelligence Efforts (EDIF-IE) contract at the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The successful candidate will focus on reviewing, writing, editing, and validating various USAICoE CG/DA G2 high-priority projects and Army Intelligence doctrinal publications, to include "Intelligence Setting the Theater" and "Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI)." The successful candidate will make an important and immediate doctrinal impact on the continuous transformation of the MI Corps. This role requires conducting comprehensive doctrinal assessments, performing in-depth research, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of Army Intelligence doctrine. Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and update Army Intelligence doctrinal publications related to "Intelligence Setting the Theater" and RSOI, ensuring they are current and applicable to evolving operational requirements.

  • Develop and write doctrinal notes and manuals, incorporating insights and feedback from intelligence professionals, operational commanders, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Conduct detailed research on strategic intelligence operations and the integration of intelligence into theater-level planning and execution, focusing on optimizing RSOI processes.

  • Collaborate with intelligence analysts, doctrine writers, military personnel, and other partners to maintain coherence and consistency across doctrinal publications.

  • Validate and refine doctrinal content by engaging with operational units, participating in relevant meetings and working groups, and visiting training centers.

  • Provide expert feedback and recommendations on both proponent and non-proponent documents to support the continuous improvement of Army Intelligence doctrine.

Requirements :

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of military intelligence experience.

  • Operational experience conducting intelligence operations across multiple echelons, including Echelons Corps and Below (ECB) as well as Echelons Above Corps (EAC), is highly desired.

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in intelligence, security, or a related discipline. Degree requirements may be reduced based on directly relevant operational experience.

  • Desired military education/training includes any of the following: Intermediate Level Education (ILE), Army War College (AWC), School of Advance Military Studies (SAMS), Senior Service College Fellowship Programs, Strategic Intelligence Officer FA 34.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of intelligence systems, operations, and training.

  • Experience in applying intelligence disciplines within military operations at multiple echelons, particularly in theater-level operations and supporting RSOI.

  • Proven ability to write and develop technical documents, including military white papers, research papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin (MIPB) articles, and capability documents using standard American English grammar.

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive research and integrate findings effectively into doctrinal projects.

  • Experience in reviewing, assessing, and providing quality feedback on doctrinal and non-doctrinal documents.

  • Leadership and expertise in applying intelligence disciplines within military operations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel for meetings, participate in working groups, and visit units and training centers as required.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in using the Army 365 Teams collaborative platform.

Clearance Requirements

Employee shall possess a TOP SECRET (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
