Citizens Alliance Bank Loan Servicing Specialist in Howard Lake, Minnesota

Position Summary: This position will assist in coordinating a full range of loan processing stems to ensure the loan package is fully prepared for closing and all borrow files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies. The Loan Servicing Specialist will order all necessary documents and follow up with Loan Officers and/or Bank Services Assistants to obtain required items in a timely manner, review loan data in the loan origination system to ensure accurate, complete, and timely information has been entered and work to sure loan deficiencies as needed from pre/post funding audits and post-closing. This position will complete complex duties required to process loans to ensure accurate and complete documentation from application acceptance through to loan closing. Responsible for timely receipt of pre and post loan documents to ensure compliance with all bank policies as well as state and federal regulatory requirements. The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set. Review applications and loan documents for completeness and accuracy ensuring compliance with Citizens Alliance Bank policies and state and federal regulatory requirements. Includes monitoring of department reports, document status information through workflow, prepare disclosures and closing packages or Adverse Action Notices as needed Manage imaging and indexing of loan documents from internal departments, third party vendors or external business partners such as title companies, brokers, and loan customers. Maintain timely weekly and monthly loan reports as required by managers and supervisors Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards Set up, manage, and provide ongoing maintenance to electronic customer files in accordance with Citizens Alliance Bank guidelines. Complete post-closing loan review and check lists. Physical presence in the bank is required. All employees are expected to exemplify and follow our core values. Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work. Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed. This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee s personal mobile device. The MFA apps are used to authenticate a user s identity to the system for security purposes. Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank s policies and procedure. Education and Experience: Required: High School diploma or GED., etc. Required: Associate de ree or equivalent in accounting or related field. Required: 3+ years of systems-related experience. Required: Knowledge and experience of bank lending processes. Required: Proficient in Excel spreadsheets, including high-level analytical skills.
