Our client is a technology provider that focuses on offering environmentally sustainable and science-based technology solutions to a variety of industries such as: probiotics, agriculture, food, and human biologics. They are looking for a Microbiologist with zero to two years’ experience in the industry. This will give you the chance to join a team of scientists, biologists, engineers, and researchers specializes in solving problems related focused within human and animal nutrition and health, and agriculture.

Responsibilities:

• Assists formulation development activities related to the following: vaccines, enzymes, and nutraceutical.

• Basic microbiology techniques

• Furthers and develops formulation techniques in relation to project needs and overall business objectives.

• Document test results

• Understands and participates in process development and scale-up activities

Experience/Education:

• BS, MS or equivalent experience in Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Pharma/Crop Protection or Food Science

• Minimum of 1-year micro lab experience in an industrial setting.

• Adept at plating and numeration.

• Experience with probiotics, vaccines, enzymes, vitamins, pharmaceutical materials or agricultural chemicals a plus.

• Prior experience with Laboratory scale Sample Prep, Kilolab or Pilot Plant operation formulation development, encapsulation, micro encapsulation, nano-technology, or food processing equipment a plus.
