Honeywell Process Solutions is actively recruiting for Strategic Marketing Leader for its Discreet Automation Vertical.

We are creating, innovating, and delivering solutions fast, challenging the way things have always been done, piloting new ways for all of us to work, and expecting our successes to set new standards for our customers and for Honeywell..

This position requires an ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization. In this high impact role, you will work autonomously as a senior member of our Vertical leadership team to achieve organizational objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

Support Discrete Vertical leader in driving marketing growth strategies across HPS and HON globally:

  • Support the Vertical Leader in establishing and communicating the STRAPs and regional growth plans and assist in following up on implementation

  • Support regional expansion by defining markets broadly and generating new ideas to grow with existing products/services in new markets/applications and new products/ services in existing markets/ applications

  • Tailor and deploy breakthrough strategies to meet local customer/market needs for regions

Develop robust business cases for Vertical:

  • Understanding market trends and drivers

  • Defining customer needs and value of meeting those needs vs. competition

  • Segmenting customers and focusing on target segments

  • Defining distinctive value propositions tailored for the region

  • Articulating the regional go-to-market strategy/pricing for the target segment

  • Driving execution of projects with clear results and contributions to the bottom line

  • Partnering with segment leaders to effectively implement the strategies

Position Discrete offerings globally:

  • Support global efforts in operationalizing competitive intelligence by acting as focal point for gathering and disseminating competitive intelligence

  • Execute, together with customer marketing, external and HPS hosted events in the region to generate leads and deliver strong messaging for future opportunity development

  • Support Vertical leader in preparation for HPS business meetings and senior leadership visits to the region

  • Support in driving BTI/NPD marketing excellence for your region and regionalize commercialization / launch plans

  • Support Vertical leader in driving the regional adoption of new business models

Enhance Marketing Excellence in the region:

  • Work with Vertical leader and Pole teams to ensure Sales and Marketing are closely aligned on short-term/long-term objectives (e.g. implement a Monthly Operating Review process)

  • Collaborate across regions to share marketing best practices, competitive and customer-specific intelligence, and enhance overall HPS competitiveness

  • Become the expert in the region on marketing trends and operationalize market intel by driving to business impact and actions

WE VALUE

  • Masters degree from an accredited university

  • Strong business aptitude and interest; understanding and application of basic marketing frameworks.

  • Experience with the implementation of new business development and marketing initiatives that lead to profitable growth

  • Financial acumen and business case analysis/justification development

  • Proven track record of successful implementation (on time and on budget) of technology or marketing programs preferred

  • Ability to influence multifunctional teams without a direct reporting relationship

  • A Highly motivated self-starter
