We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer for Gateway C&T Systems to join our team with Mb Solutions, a teammate company.
The Systems Integration Engineer for Gateway C&T Systems will:
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Communications and Tracking Sub-Systems of the Gateway Level 2 Sub-Systems
Assess design compliance of the Gateway Level 2 requirements to commercial providers
Maintain and update Gateway Level 2 requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements Documents
Track and maintain requirement documents on task schedule
Support the Gateway verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices (VCNs)
Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering
Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities
Review verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirements
Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews
Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance
Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Perform other duties as required
Requisition Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
BS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school
On location position - situational telework only
Knowledge and understanding of digital and analog RF communication systems such as RF basics, radio propagation, antennas, and modulation
Knowledge and understanding of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and technologies including model based systems engineering
Knowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirements
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.
Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
Experience working in a team environment
Requisition Preferences:
