Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst - Contractor

Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour

Length of Assignment: 6 months

As an Analyst in our Non-Hydrocarbon Procurement department, you'll gain hands-on experience tackling real-world challenges, learning best-in-class strategies, and contributing to the optimization of our supply chain processes. You will be exposed to different aspects of contracts, analytics, process improvement and system change opportunities. The level of exposure to each of these will vary based on the project(s) you are assigned. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who can leverage data to provide meaningful and actionable insights to the department, track key performance indicators, and measure the success of optimization efforts.

As a self-starter in a dynamic environment, you will take the initiative in supporting various contract reconciliation activities, performing ad-hoc analytics for internal teams, and assisting with process and system improvements. Your role will be critical in ensuring accuracy, streamlining processes, and supporting the overall efficiency of the team. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to various aspects of our operations, helping to drive performance and accuracy. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset who is passionate about process optimization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education

: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and derive insights from data
  • Shows responsibility by taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments. Confidently addresses challenges, holds themselves and others accountable
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and systems (Excel, SQL, PowerBI, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and optimization methodologies (preferred but not required).
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without restrictions from their current employer or educational institution.

Job Duties

  • Conduct in-depth analysis to support business needs, such as financial assessments, performance reviews, and operational efficiencies.
  • Collect and analyze data to develop reports and presentations to summarize findings, identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest process improvements.
  • Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of contracts terms and related financial data, ensuring all terms are met and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations, effectively communicating data insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Support in maintaining and updating contract records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborati g with the suppliers for financial recovery.
  • Assist in the review, design, and optimization of internal processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall workflows.
  • Provide support for system-related inquiries, helping troubleshoot and resolving issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to troubleshoot system issues, recommend enhancements to reengineer the processes
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments for advanced visualizations
