MRI, a woman-owned Technologies and Engineering Services company is searching for a Stress Analyst to join the Orion Stress Team in support of a critical surge effort. This role involves providing stress analysis documentation for the verification of the Artemis 2 vehicle. We welcome candidates of all experience levels, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform stress analysis to support Artemis 2 vehicle verification.
• Conduct finite element analysis using Nastran.
• Apply classical hand calculations and fatigue analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to document findings and ensure compliance with mission requirements.

Required Skills:

• Typically requires a minimum of abachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proficiencyin finite element analysis (FEA) tools, particularly Nastran.
• Experience in performing classical hand calculations for stress analysis.
• Background in fatigue analysis.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with FEMAP and Slim.
• Knowledge of fracture analysis and NASA's fracture control system.
• Familiarity with aeroshell and thermal protection system (TPS) analysis.
