Title: Staff Accountant – Reconciliation Specialist

Location: Spring, TX (Hybrid)

Type: Contract (2 years)

Our client is looking to add a Staff Accountant with an emphasis on Reconciliations to their team!

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and address any discrepancies.

• Investigate complex issues related to general ledger account reconciliations, financial transactions, and system reports.

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports.

• Support accounting processes and journal entry preparation.

• Monitor and investigate irregularities in operating expense variances.

• Track and research cash discrepancies (e.g., daily deposits, voids, stop payments, and uncashed checks for escheatment).

• Resolve departmental inquiries and provide assistance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  Qualifications:

• Familiar with financial reporting systems.

• Knowledgeable in general ledger systems and subsystems.

• Experience with Oracle (R12) and Hyperion HFM/Smartview preferred.

• Compensation will depend on experience- $30-36/hr
