Jacobs Sr. Project Manager - Healthcare, Commissioning Coordinator in Houston, Texas

We're seeking a seasoned Commissioning Coordinator, Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Buildings who fosters collaboration and ensures projects are properly commissioned. This distinctive role, based at a client site in Houston (Medical Center), offers a unique opportunity to coordinate commissioning activities and manage project-related issues, reporting directly to the Program Manager.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring the progress and technical performance of the project. You'll also be responsible for the crucial aspects of schedule, scope, and safety of the team, underscoring your integral role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all commissioning activities

  • Main point of contact for the client for all commissioning activities, including BAS

  • Liaison between the Commissioning Agent and the Project Manager

  • Liaison between the Commissioning Agent and the client

  • Track energy and commissioning matrices

  • Drawing and specification review

  • Review commissioning plan

  • Perform site observations, submittal reviews, review RFIs, review TAB reports

  • Responsible for maintaining Jacobs’ relationship with the client

  • BS/BA in Construction, Engineering OR related work experience in lieu of education

  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental, or Construction organization

  • Healthcare building construction experience is imperative

  • Strong working knowledge of the commissioning process, building automation system components and technology, schedule adherence, and client relationship building

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

  • Professional Engineer license
