EOG Resources, Inc. Sr. Environmental Representative in Houston, Texas

Primary focus on developing and maintaining environmental (including air quality) processes, policies, and compliance for EOG corporate programs. The candidate will support and develop ongoing improvements of environmental systems, provide support & solutions for data management, and data migration through EOG information systems. The candidate should have a strong background in data quality assurance and control. The candidate should have a knowledge of oil and gas operational equipment/functions and knowledge of air quality and greenhouse gas emissions applicable to the oil and gas industry. The candidate will communicate and collaborate with other environmental and regulatory specialists across the company to ensure consistency in project execution. The candidate will have knowledge on environmental state and federal regulatory rules and potential changes that may impact EOG's environmental programs. The candidate will develop, coordinate, and perform required environmental training for operations personnel across the company as needed. They will coordinate reporting of state and federal program from EOG's environmental applications and coordinate internal relevant reports and documents as needed. The candidate will review and coordinate with operations in other departments and Divisions to implement environmental stewardship practices across the company as needed. Travel up to 25% is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

7+ years' experience in environmental and/or sustainability, with oil and gas industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, environmental science or other relevant field preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of federal and environmental preferred. Functional knowledge and experience with SQL is preferred. Must be excellent in communications, data analysis and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with others at all levels. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
