Sr. Director, Business Development

Roles and Responsibilities

Take on a leadership role as part of an Enterprise Growth Team (EGT) whose charter is step-function pursuits in a $6B company. This role includes building the team culture, processes, and standards. As part of the leadership team, you will help model top-tier pursuit behaviors across the pursuit lifecycle. You will help define roles, responsibilities, processes and procedures, as well as personnel alignment across the team.

As a Business Development practitioner, you will contribute to identifying and developing customer-centric solutions that apply to Opening and Middle Game in targeted markets. You will assess KBR's pipeline and growth strategy and identify and lead targeted campaigns around a specific market/customer set. You will create a pipeline of opportunities and build strategic and tactical approaches for entering or expanding presence in markets. This role may include M&A activities, strategic teaming, strategic hires, pursuit strategies, technology investments, and other investments. You will lead strategic captures with a focus on the most complex bids that require a long-term capture strategy and pursuit horizons.

As a corporate citizen within the leadership role on the EGT, you will work with organizations external to the team supporting our CGO and our CTO to represent the EGT across Strategy, Strategic customer engagement, IRAD, and Strategic Pursuits functions.

Requirements

Masters degree in Technical or Technical Management fields and 20 years of experience with 10 years minimum in Business Development
