Senior Technical Professional

Senior Technical Professional, KBR Technical Services, Inc., Houston, TX:

Responsible for development of comprehensive proposal for all furnaces (crackers, fired heaters and reformers) including development of scope of work, vendor scope alignment and ITB compliance. Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and client/project requirements, driving successful execution against the scope of work. Inter-teams management: Communicate ITB/RFQ terms effectively to engineering, procurement, quality, and project management teams. Support development of new modular solutions for upcoming sustainable technologies. Preparing the initial 3D layout, offering and scope of work for KBR. Performing application of advanced process design techniques for the development and optimization of process designs for existing solutions. Responsible for marketing activities such as brochure, presentations, website etc. for Modular Solutions. Lead/Participate in strategic initiatives related to modular solutions and responsible for presenting all initiatives to management.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of related work experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 6 years ofprogressive post-bachelor’s related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:

• AutoCAD in Mechanical design;

• Naviswork Freedom;

• PV Elite;

• PDMS (Plant Design Management System);

• AVEVA-E3D (Piping design);

• Designing and developing proposals for fired heaters, steam crackers and ethylene cracker units; and

• The conceptual development of process designs, basic economic evaluations, ASME codes, equipment fabrication process, Manufacturing Technology, Process Flow Diagrams,equipment capacity evaluation, and specification.

Must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:

• Generating salesforce reports;

• Dashboard generation with PowerBI or equivalent software;

• Modular Technology Solutions for Process technologies / Heat transfer systems; and

• Project Management.

International travel required up to 25%; Domestic travel required up to 25%.
