JOB SUMMARY

Leader of the Procurement & Supply Chain Center of Excellence for a global energy services business. Opportunity to join an innovative and collaborative team delivering tangible and impactful results to the business. Responsible for leading and overseeing our procurement and supply chain improvement initiatives, analytics, and global inventory. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic alignment and execution of projects that enhance procurement and supply chain efficiency, leverage data analytics for informed decision-making, and optimize global inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, data analytics, and inventory management, with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion across multiple functions. The qualified individual will ensure full compliance with standards, policies, and procedures, monitoring implementation and providing expert support to Nabors operations worldwide.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

  • Oversee the Nabors Procurement & Supply Chain transformation with the Director of Global Procurement & Supply Chain and third-party advisors.

  • Analyze supply chain processes against best practices and develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, align project objectives with internal departments, and ensure timely and on-budget project delivery using project management tools.

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships inside and outside of Procurement & Supply Chain to become a trusted resource for solving complex supply chain issues.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to drive innovation.

Inventory Management:

  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive strategy to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables.

  • Develop and manage statistical models to optimize inventory and replenishment while maintaining customer service levels and cash flow.

  • Review and analyze forecast versus actual demand to identify changes and trends.

  • Assist in resolving supply-demand/service-cost issues and facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation among stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous process improvement and aggregate planning data into actionable insights for C-Level leadership to inform investment and risk decisions.

Analytics Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the analytics team, fostering continuous learning and innovation to advance their career paths with Nabors.

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business goals and drive data-driven decisions.

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams.

  • Manage ad-hoc analysis requests in a timely manner while understanding and meeting the needs of the stakeholder(s).

  • Ensure data accuracy and quality while developing dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and findings to stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation, stay updated with industry trends, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations Management.

  • 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management functions or equivalent.

  • Management of multiple direct reports, with proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.

  • Ability to analyze large and complex sets of data and deliver insights to stakeholders.

  • Excellent project management and time management skills.

  • Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationship with team, management, and departments.

  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in an ambiguous “matrix environment” and aggressively take the lead on making recommendations that will result in Procurement & Supply Chain improvements.
